Burnfoot win Dodson & Horrell Championship
Given the endless days of Sunshine with little rain it was touch and go as to whether the tournament would go ahead due to hard ground but fortuously the week before the tournament we had some heavy rain leading to perfect ground conditions over the weekendEight teams entered across two divisions. It was very promising that each club was able to enter a team in both divisions showing that after a few tough years, Scottish Polo is once again growing.Each division saw some tough play and the upper section final was particularly exciting but Alasdair Archibald's young guns showed some impressive Polo to help Burnfoot win the final.The lower section saw a Kinross team who won their match easily on Saturday take on strong Edinburgh side. Kinross really upped their game for this hard fought final and were able to eek out the win.A great weekend was had by all and we were thankful for perfect weather as it hasn't stopped raining since!
