The 15^th edition of the HUBLOT POLO GOLD CUP GSTAAD finished today with a superb victory of the Team Bank Baring Brothers Sturdza over Hublot by 9 to 8 in an extra chukker. The third and the fourth place go to Star Design and Gstaad Palace respectively. The double finalist of the 2008 and 2009 tournament is maybe last, but certainly not least. Their performance was impressive all the more in that the team was totally reconstituted a few days before the opening of the tournament due to an accident with team captain Sacha Pictet. The highlight of this year’s tournament was without any doubt Marcos Heguy (hcp 10), one of the world’s best polo players, who scored 19 goals during the tournament, with 6 today in the final. All matches of the tournament were remarkable and exciting. The HUBLOT POLO GOLD CUP GSTAAD has again enforced its position as one of the best high-goal tournaments in Europe.
